D-p-Methyl sulfone phenyl ethyl serinate is an important raw material for the synthesis of florfenicol. Florfenicol is a new generation of broad-spectrum antibiotics for chloramphenicol animals. It has been widely used in clinical medicine and agriculture. In recent years, the demand for it is increasing year by year.
Production:
In a 500ml reaction bottle, 34g copper sulfate was put in, 250ml purified water was stirred to dissolve, 19g glycine was added, 42g p-sulfone benzaldehyde was added, ammonia water was adjusted to pH=9, water solution temperature was controlled at 50℃ for 22 hours, filtration was performed, filter cake was dissolved in 300mL anhydrous ethanol, and 40g concentrated sulfuric acid was dropped, reflux was 2.5 hours. The filter cake was dissolved in water, the pH value of ammonia water was adjusted to 9, and solid was separated out. The racemate was dissolved in 3 times ethanol, and l-tartaric acid was added. After 2.5 hours of reflux, the solid was obtained as the product. Yield of 42.3%.
